Tall handthrown Salt, hand painted with pale pink decoration, with a white gloss glaze and white slip details, inspired by early English ceramics. A Salt is a historic ceramic peice that was often in the form of a dish on a pedestal to serve salt (know as 'white gold') on the table to guests. I saw this type of unusual form at a conference on early delftware earlier this year and got slightly obsessed with the form and had to make my own version!
