Inspired by Jacobean lacework in portrait miniatures, this candlestick is hand thrown in black clay with a hand drawn tracery of white slip lacework. The base and candleholder have hand made applied sprig details and the decorative bosses on each handle are painted with sliver lustre to catch the candlelight.
